Check out this permaculture earthwork project my son recently completed! I provided the design through remote consultation, and Danial executed the installation with great care and precision. It was a proud moment for me. The property is on small acreage on the East coast of Australia, approximately 45 minutes South of Port Macquarie. It includes a newly constructed dam with an island, several swales (one of which gracefully weaves through trees), and three small contour dams. In the area near the house, three well-placed filtration ponds have been created, situated near future crop gardens for maximum efficiency and sustainability. Danial has had a strong interest in permaculture since he was very young. This passion led him to become an excellent permaculture designer, consultant, and teacher with a particular emphasis on earthworks and their implementation.
