SNEAK PEEK AT OUR NATIONAL TV COMMERCIAL #WHISKEYFAMILY! 😱🤩 A fews weeks ago, on the grounds of Nearest Green Distillery, our team members had a blast shooting a TV commercial together. A few things we think you’ll love to know about the making of the commercial: 1. As was the case with our first TV commercial, “The Why” (link in bio if you’ve not seen them), our incredible Nearest Green Distillery family are the only folks you you see in the commercial, and the voiceover is the incomparable Emmy, Golden Globe and Tony Award winning actor, Jeffrey Wright. 2. As was the case with our second TV commercial, “Do I Love You (Indeed I Do),” we’ve again opened the Motown vault and pulled out a never before heard song my Motown writer and producer, Frank Wilson (link in bio). The father of our founder and CEO @fawn.weaver never released a song, choosing to focus on writing and becoming one of the top producers in the nation, but he recorded a couple songs that made it into the vault. His family had no idea this song, My Sugar Baby, existed until two weeks before this commercial was shot. 3. A cool thing happened when we broke open the Motown vault for a Frank Wilson record on our last commercial: The Boss, Bruce Springsteen, rerecorded “Do I Love You (Indeed I Do)” and released it as the first single on his 21st album. Let’s see who rerecords “My Sugar Baby,” because with a tune this catchy, you know it’s coming! This commercial hits airwaves coast to coast tomorrow, August 16th.
