Beneath the calm exterior of life, emotions can surge like a hidden storm, ready to overwhelm us. The weight of such pain can feel unbearable, as if it could consume us from within. The fear arises that if we release these emotions, they might ignite chaos and inflict harm upon the world. This fear often leads us to bury these feelings, intensifying our inner struggle. Yet, it's important to remember that seeking help is a mark of courage. Sharing our pain doesn't always lead to harm; sometimes, it paves the way for healing. People are resilient, finding ways to navigate through these emotions with support and positive outlets. Gradually, the journey towards peace and solace becomes attainable. In the midst of this, we encounter the heartbreaking story of Uncle Janan, who lost two sons in the ravages of war. Tears well up in his eyes as he recites a poignant poem by the renowned Persian poet Saadi—an attempt to convey his emotions when words fall short. In those moments when language fails, poetry can often eloquently express what we feel.
