🚨#BlueBeetle Quick Spoiler Free Review🚨 Warner Bros Discovery massively undersold & promoted this movie. From the trailers, this film looked generic & bland. But the movie itself feels a lot different. Whilst having moments that are very much included in most CBM’s, the Reyes family set the movie apart. This film was funny, emotional & had some great action sequences. You do feel the budget, and it doesn’t feel like a movie made for theatres but it is very entertaining on first watch. The problem I have with comedic CBM’s is the rewatch value. Hearing the same jokes again never really have the same affect but on the first watch, 90% of the jokes land. Whether or not I feel that on my second viewing is yet to be seen. But a very entertaining movie and I definitely want to see more of Blue Beetle in the #DCU. I loved him in #Batman Brave and the Bold and I loved him in this movie. The trailers really do undersell this film. It has some flaws which I can only really talk about in a spoiler review. Some things feel forced or very out of place with the rest of the film but overall a good movie. Film rating: 7.5/10 #DC #DCEU #BlueBeetle
