Throughout all my research on Vietnam, I rarely came across Phu Quoc. However, I'm so happy to have discovered this city. Located just a one-hour flight away from Ho Chi Minh City, this island is incredibly scenic and underrated. You'll need at least three full days here because there's so much to do. Here's my recommended itinerary: Day 1: 🦒 Vinpearl Safari: I love how interactive the safari is! You get to feed and pet animals, watch bird shows, and take a bus ride through a massive safari 🦁 🏞️ Grand World: How magical does this little town look? ✨️ It feels like Venice, and you can ride a water taxi up and down the river 🛶 At night, it truly comes to life with lights and street food vendors. Don't miss the water show at night; it's spectacular and kind of felt like a mini rave 😆🎉 Day 2: 🎡 VinWonders: The largest theme park in Vietnam, it's basically like Disneyland - do I need to say more? 😂 It's huge and you can easily spend a whole day exploring it. There are so many fun rides and activities (and because we went during the wet season, we barely had to wait in line for any rides) Day 3: 🌅Visit Sunset Town, which looks like Positano 😍 I still can't get over how cute and aesthetic all the pastel houses are here 🩷🧡💛 Every corner is so instaworthy. Here, you can also take the world's longest sea-crossing cable car over to Hon Thom Island, home to a water park and more rides 🌃At night, visit Phu Quoc Market.
