Diabetes #realitycheck 💉 training is going really well, diabetes management is fine. That’s the two easy parts lately. Learned that 1) diabetes burnout is just a matter of time and it really is no fun. 2) I wish losing weight would be as hard as I thought it was before diabetes and taking insulin (aka growth hormone I’d die without), especially while trying to fit into a weight limit to be able to compete (who doesn’t love a little extra stress 😄). 3) LOWs are still scary. 4) My dog is a therapist. 🧘🏻♀️ It’s hard, but one good thing about diabetes is that it teaches you to never give up (because that would end really really bad lol), and after you let all the frustration and tears out, it gets better again, you keep doing what you have to do, and smile again 🙃 #herewego #winteriscoming #throughhighsandlows #literally #diabetesawareness #t1d #t1dathlete #eatyourveggies #justtheveggies 🙄😄 #numberseverywhere #puppytherapy #itsfineimfineeverythingsfine
