You can pivot your career—and life—to align with your passions anytime you make that decision and commit to it. It’s scary, I know. But if you don’t at least try to open the door to see what’s possible, I can promise you, it will never open. Never in a million years did I ever think I’d go from being an unhappy lawyer suffering from bulimia and binge eating disorder to creating a brand new career literally out of nothing—from a hobby posting my healing journey and recipe creations on Instagram, which over time led to small partnerships, which eventually led to me leaving behind a financially lucrative career as a lawyer, which then led to finding more joy and meaning in my work, which then led to a cookbook, which led to more doors opening and a world of possibility at my fingertips, and which has led to today—my face on a 15-story billboard in New York City in Times Square. It’s a pretty cool feeling. So if you need a little inspiration today to follow your dreams, here it is. The road isn’t going to be easy, but it will always be worth it, and anything “worth it” will always come with dedication, hard work, hustle and consistency. You can do it.
