Repeat after me.. loyalty doesn’t what? Pay your bills! As much as many of us love the companies we work at, the reality is big salary increases are few and far between 😭 the average increase you can expect is between 3-5% 😬 Did you know that according to @forbes , staying employed at the same company for over two years on average is going to make you earn less over your lifetime by about 50% or more?! So if earning is a big motivator for you, at some point you have to make the difficult decision to leave - especially if you are early in career! Once you are comfortable with your earnings then you can stay at a company for as long as you want - my personal rule is that you have to be earning OR learning at all jobs 👏🏾 Be smart with the decisions you make, don’t just move for money, do the research about the company and make sure you pick something that aligns with you and your goals 🌟 What are your thoughts?
