Another #veganpie, decorated with #pastry #lattice and featuring pastry #braids . Watch till the end to see the cutting of the #pie It feels like summer is here. Even though pie is very much an autumn and winter favourite, I think they are excellent for a #summer #picnic . It is hearty, filling and filled with a #curry made with a mixture of cooked lentils, bulgar wheat and lots of vegetables. Making it is extremely easy, you need to make a curry base (or use a shop bought one), which you fry with your choice of vegetable and lentils and let everything cook to get to know each other. In a very little time, you will end up with a delicious healthy concoction. Anyway, a good summer weather like today, is ideal for a picnic. I like sunny days with a bit of cooling breeze and occasional pick-a-boo of clouds, which makes it so much more pleasant. Even though I am not having a picnic today, I am just going to have my lunch outside, and enjoy the pie and a bit the tickle of the cold wind and the kisses of warm summer sun...refreshing, isn’t it.
