I honestly don’t even know what to say about this one. It was my first time doing appliqué. I opted for machine appliqué. Thread is usually color matched and it’s very very tiny—2mm wide and 1mm long. I kind of love the teeny tiny zig zag. I started this quilt in March, worked on it for a month of so, and then it sat idle for a few months. I picked it up this past weekend and decided to finish it. I’m not sure it’s destined for daily use. How well will the machine appliqué wash? So it might cover the wall in the hallway to my bedroom. Where I can admire each square as I pass by. And my daughter can find her favorites. 💖 . . . Quilt pattern: #naivemelodyquilt from @_lucyengels Fabrics: assorted solids from my stash. The grid is left over from a quilt back. I’ll send this off to be long armed. I’m planning to take advantage of @tracecreekquilting end of summer sale! What pattern do you think would suit this design?
