As the whirl of dust in my mind settles, I remember the subtle serenity of the teachings behind it allΒ . We are taught to stand tall in the worldly winds ofΒ gain and loss, status and disgrace, praise and blame, pleasure and pain. Today, I feel gratitude for the beautiful organization that I gave so much of my life to building. The seeds of the dharma will continue to flower in the hearts and minds of our beloved community. As human beings and organizations pass through the many seasons of life, the dharma continues to flow with poignancy and grace. Now is not the season for me to dive back in to rebuild an organization after I retired. But Iβm excited to see what will emerge from the bright minds and generous hearts in our community.
