“how do you start journaling?!” “i never know what to write about.” “i am scared of it for some reason.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ these are things i always hear when holding space for others while they journal. these are the biggest questions and fears. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ the truth isn’t poetic, you just start. you just tell the page about something true for your in that moment. it could be anything, like how take your coffee and maybe that leads you to a memory of the first time your mother let you have coffee and then all of a sudden you’re writing about the frogs and crickets you knew as a child. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ when you journal, you just tell the truth about one simple thing and trust that your mind will unravel the rest. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ our next journaling session is this sunday. the theme is: body acceptance AND nature 🍂🌙🥀 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ start. deny nothing. #journaling #journalingcommunity #journalinginspiration
