Yesterday, we found a duckling in our driveway. It had been separated from its family during the storm and was running around frantically, clearly scared and in a panic. There’s a big aqueduct right by our house so we figured that’s where she came from. We brought her inside and got her warmed up, gave her some oatmeal (per Google) and some water. After spending the night with us, my husband went back to the aqueduct to see if her family came back after the storm. He saw a few groups of ducks milling around so he took JoJo (I couldn’t help it, I had to name her) down to mingle with them. Happily, she joined one of the groups and swam away with them!
