Stem Cell Harvest: Day 3 Wow! Tuesday’s harvest went better than expected. We slept in today, so when we realized they skipped Pryce’s morning shot, we were expecting bad news. Instead, they said Pryce’s counts went up so much, he didn’t need anymore shots. 😊 The cell count also came back great - 3.5 million! They were very pleased & decided to go ahead with today’s collection. Pryce collected another 5.6 million today! Whoo-hoo! The team was so excited. They really weren’t expecting much out of Pryce’s bone marrow. All the cells collected will be split up into bags. They said they were able to get enough for 4 stem cell rescues. We don’t know if/when Pryce would need these, but it’s a huge praise to have these as back-up.
