The cover on “perfect motherhood” has been blown in recent years and I for one am HERE👏🏼FOR👏🏼IT👏🏼 Let’s all let out a collective sigh of relief that we no longer have to pretend to have all of our ducks in a row at all times. Because the truth is no one has all their ducks in a row. Half the time our ducks are acting like wild geese in need of a tranquilizer dart. Let’s take the pressure off so we all have the freedom to be exactly what we are - human. Humans who make mistakes, humans who are imperfect, and humans who are capable of learning. If you feel like the less than perfect mom, the mom who continually tries her best but feels exhausted and overstimulated, the mom who barely has the energy to make herself a cup of coffee in the morning let alone the cutesy-themed cookie cutter-shaped food for a school lunch, you’re not alone.
