Heres a look behind what makes up a one of my vector artworks. The pieces you see me create are made in Illustrator using solid 'blocks' of colour instead of a smooth blend of pixels like you would find with artwork created in Photoshop or Procreate. These blocks of colour are produced with a mix of brush tools on an iPad, and mouse & keyboard inputs. I prefer to draw parts of the artwork which may not even end up being visible in the final piece, for example the crash barrier seen here. It aids with perspective, scale, and also allows elements such as the Subaru to be scaled and moved around without creating issues such as missing background areas.
