Absolutely loving my first 2 months of PGY-3 year! 😍 I started off the year (I actually still have a week left!) on my Mohs (microscopically controlled dermatologic surgery used to treat both common and rare types of skin cancer) block with lots of excisions thrown into the mix as well. I’ve also been soaking in every minute of my continuity clinic experience - one unique thing about our program in Boston is that we have two weekly continuity clinics and as a PGY-2 one of those clinics is a surgical clinic). This year I’m lucky enough to get to work with and learn cosmetic, laser and general dermatology from my continuity mentors Drs. Scott and Tsao. ☺️☺️ From lasers to botox, filler, chemical peels, general dermatology, hair loss and everything in between, I’m grateful to be learning and growing everyday - we even spend some mornings in the operating room performing laser treatment under general anesthesia!
