Can you believe it’s been a whole year?! A whole year of Cyril! We’ve been living in him full time for a whole bloody year. I’ve been meaning to make this video for the past year, the van build from start to finish! Some of you may have watched it all happen on YouTube. Big thanks for @coalitionvans for making it happen with such speedy timing. As much as we’ve not had the chance to travel and adventure in Cyril much yet (although the few amazing long weekends away have given us a taste of freedom) with work and responsibilities (we also still need to actually pay off the van!) we’ve enjoyed every moment regardless. I’m not going to say it’s been all rainbows and fairytales, there’s been extremely stressful moments and lots of learning and adapting but we wouldn’t change it for the world. Once we close the door we could be anywhere in the world and we’re home. We’ve also made lots of additions to our little tiny home since these pictures were taken (with lots more planned for the future!) I’ve had thoughts of attempting some video content (pushing the anxiety and cringe factor aside 😅) things like ‘what we’ve learnt after living in a van in London for a year’ but it’s quite a controversial situation and subject so I’m not sure where to go with it just yet - open to suggestions or advise!
