NY Pizza @librettospizzeria 🍕🔥🗽 Many New Yorkers moving here so I want to hear what you all think! Go this weekend and report back 🤓💯 Owner, Mike Libretto is the man if you’ve never met him. And his entire family aka the staff are really awesome people. Hung out with them all morning making pizza and I loved watching how much love goes into their process. Carlos, aka The Godfather (originally from Chile) lived in NYC as a baker for 16 years and was Libretto’s first employee in Charlotte. He is a certified dough master and can whip out pies faster than you have ever seen! 👨🏻‍🍳🍕 Mike fell in love with pizza back when he lived in Tribeca. - What what makes your pizza so delicious? “We make it the way it’s made in New York City. Haven’t swayed a bit from the OG recipe. We all use the same flour, cheese and tomato sauce. - Is New York water really the secret to the best pizza and bagels? “Yes. You need to know how to work with the water here in order to get the right dough. It’s a science that some people don’t know how to do.
