Anyone else wonder who the hell came up with the phrase “sleeping like a baby”? If your baby is not, well…”sleeping like a baby”… you’re going to want to save this 💾 and see if there is something up that is worth investigating! You might be asking yourself, “Grace…you’re a lactation consultant. What do feeding and sleeping have to do with each other!?” But feeding and sleeping have a few ⭐️ MAJOR ⭐️ things in common: TONGUE posture 👅 and BREATHING through your nose 👃🏾💨 being the most important! Check out these 🚩 5 SURPRISING RED FLAGS 🚩 that your baby could be dealing with Sleep Disordered Breathing (SDB) or Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA): 😵 baby sleeps with mouth open (even slightly, even just a little) 😴 baby snores or breathes loudly (sleep should be completely silent) 😓 baby gets very sweaty while sleeping 🤸 baby sleeps in strange positions (neck or back arched, or on belly with butt in the air) 🤱🏽 baby needs to suck on something ALL night long (boob, bottle, or pacifier, it doesn’t matter!)
