In awe. Our trip to Carmanah (among other places on the island) was a pilgrimage of sorts. We were privileged to traverse through traditional lands of the Coast Salish, Nuu Chah Nulth, and Kwakiutl peoples these past weeks. The trees sang beautifully to us but their song is sad and full of pain. We need to start listening better. - Rox and I will be showing our work and sharing some thoughts from our experience in October in Toronto. At the @theriverdalehub Gallery.
