Never thought I’d see this at #theQuail! . Another JDM import ended up at #aMotsportsGathering and it was my old trusty S2000 that was the car that was originally in #theFastandtheFurious in its black and red guise and then in #2Fast2Furious in this pink livery. . Thanks to the @petersenmuseum who brought out some art and movie cars from their collection to this year’s event, I can now say RO_JA made it to this signature event! LoL . Fun Fact 1 - RO_JA Motorsports was a signature wheel line that I lead back in the early 2000s. The wheel on this S2K was called the GTM. The RO_JA logo on the fender is actually not the correct one. Something must have happened to the original stickers on the front fenders and they replaced it but assuming they didn’t have the right logo. The whole RO_JA wheel line stopped in 2007 but a new limited collab was recently released with @vorsteiner to put some new shoes on Sloan. . Fun Fact 2 - my buddy from @versusmotorsport and I sold this S2000 to Universal Studios before they made 2Fast2Furious. It’s the same car from the first movie and the pink livery was the fourth color of the car. It was originally black when it showed up as Johnny Tran’s ride in the first film, then got painted to a chromaflair colorshift paint that went from blue to purple and was featured on the cover of Super Street Magazine and then pearl orange when it was featured on the cover of Access Magazine. After it was sold to Universal the picture car department created this pink look for @devonaoki’s “Suki” character. . Last year I picked up another S2000 to build a tribute project with my buddy @willpowah.
