This #WomensEqualityDay we honor women serving in technology positions that contribute to the DOD's operations in the information environment. Beale AFB, as part of the Sixteenth Air Force/Air Forces Cyber and @aircombatcommand , provides Information, Surveillance and Reconnaissance capabilities integral to our nation's information warfare contestations. The U-2 Dragon Lady conducts unmatched feats that make Beale's ISR mission happen. However, it's the pilots, maintainers, physiological support, intelligence and cyber Airmen who both make the U-2 fly, and turn its collected information into a national asset. These Airmen are among the best in their crafts in the world, and it is because of them that the USAF is the greatest Air Force in the world.
