*Godspeed* A “shot in the dark” of last nights Space X Crew launch from Driftwood Beach, Jekyll Island Ga The Falcon 9 Crew-7 lifted off at 3:27am this morning carrying four astronauts from four different countries to the International Space Station. In this photo, you can see the rocket’s first stage shut down and separation along with the boost-back engine burn approximately 2 minutes and 40 seconds into the launch. This photo was a difficult one to capture. It took a lot of planning and some spur of the moment changes. I knew the trajectory, but being over 200 miles away I wasn’t quite sure what focal length to use to capture the details along with the foreground.
