I made this drawing at a time when I thought my cat would go to heaven, they were very painful months but with great teaching. In the end, my cat was saved and I wanted to finish this drawing that I had abandoned due to the harsh reality we live in. I used light-toned colors to represent what I felt was the inevitable outcome, but when I finished it and was tearfully thankful that he was still here by my side, I changed the intensity of the colors to make it look more vivid... more alive. That is why I decided to leave both drawings that allowed me to capture how I felt at both moments. — Hice este dibujo en un momento en que pensé que mi gato se iría al cielo, fueron meses muy dolorosos pero con una gran enseñanza. Al final, mi gato se salvo y quise terminar este dibujo que había dejado abandonado debido a la realidad dura que vivimos. Use colores en tonalidades claras en representación a lo que sentía que era el desenlace inevitable, pero cuando lo terminé y daba gracias entre lágrimas de que siguiera aquí a mi lado, cambié la intensidad de los colores para que se viera más vivido... más vivo.
