URGENT!! THIS FOXY LITTLE BOY NEEDS A FOSTER HOME STARTING TODAY 8/27!!! Jack is 1 year old, a slight 40 lbs, and super smart and well behaved. This husky mix is potty trained, ok home alone, playful, and a fast learner. He can be a little awkward around other dogs sometimes on the street (either gets scared or very excited to play), so he could use some help with greeting skills, but he’s great with dogs he gets a chance to hang around and has been learning the ropes of doggy social etiquette quickly. Also needs a little patience on walks because he zigzags a bit and LOVES squirrels. He’s an active young dude and needs to start each day with a 90 min walk — then he’s much more chill the rest of the afternoon with some potty walks and mental stimulation here and there (like games or training practice). He’s not a basket case in average neighborhoods, but he’d be much happier in a quiet area or the burbs. His fosters, who are traveling, say: “Jack is a sweetheart! He's goofy and clumsy and it's extremely endearing. He's bursting with energy but as long as he gets a nice long walk in the morning, he spends the rest of the day sleeping next to our dog while we work from home. He gets so excited when we bring the harness out and practically flies headfirst into it. At home he loves to plop down next to you and flip over demanding belly rubs and will use his paw to hold you hostage so that you have no choice but to keep giving him scratches. He will also nestle his head into your chest or lap and ask for cuddles. Jack is thriving in Hoboken and doesn't seem too skittish except for around loud cars. He absolutely loves his crate and we've found him sleeping in there often during the day and he sleeps through the night with no issues.” PLEASE HELP!!!!
