Ask me how excited I was to be cleared to swim (and surf)?! 🌊🏄🏼‍♀️ Update: Ziggy got her stitches out from the second biopsy and was cleared to get wet! Naturally she wanted to try surfing first 🤪... We also got the results from the second biopsy and unfortunately there is still not a definitive diagnosis. Although this is frustrating, we have to look at this as a positive as we are not definitively diagnosing the worst case scenario, osteosarcoma! 🙏🏼❤️ We are working with her doctors to figure out next steps but since we’ve already done 2 biopsys at this point, it will most likely entail waiting 4-6 weeks to reimage. In the meantime, she’s started on supplements and looking into fresh food to boost her immune system and get her extra extra strong 💪🏻 Her limp seems back to the same as pre biopsy (which is great!). She’s still happy as can be and honestly is just tired of being held back 😅. We have to continue be extra cautious because her leg is still very weak (even tho she may not think so) but regardless she’s continuing to live her best life!!!
