Whilst I’m getting a load of 💩 from middle aged women and their issues with the way my gym outfits fit.. I thought I’d post another tight fitting outfit… because I wear exactly what I like. We live in a really EFFED up time right now beauts. A time where women can feel confident in their bodies and where plus size is praised. We’re living in a time we’re slimmer bodies are body shamed.. “show us real bodies” (apparently slim bodies aren’t real anymore) …a time where men are still pressurised into looking a certain way. Where magazines are still covering columns like “the bodies women really want from their men, sorry dad bod!” Where men are still shamed for feeling confident about their bodies when they wear figure hugging clothes. Its gross. Men are allowed to wear anything they feel good in. You don’t have the right to comment on how it fits, it should NOT concern you and it should never be up for debate. Apparently, to be a “real” man, we don’t have emotions (because that’s girly isn’t it) so men can take the abuse, the laughing, the jibes because they’re experimenting, wearing shorter length shorts, or figure hugging tops. I’ve seen it for myself, straight men being jibed for their outfits by straight women “you look gay”… “That’s girly” …it seems for men, the debate regarding what they look like and what they wear is still an open debate, and shaming is more than ok, because we’re just men. How the hell is that ok?
