Growing in grasslands and meadows, this beautiful herb was named after the leader of the Trojan war, Achilles, who used it to heal battle wounds. And it does just that! Achillea millefolium (millefolium means many leaves) has a ton of green leaves that appears to be cut back to the veins. So it’s a great plant signature for deep cuts and wounds. It’s an amazing blood regulator. I’ve seen it work in action stopping blood pouring out of a wound. I’ve never seen anything like it! Promotes bruise healing by getting that stagnant blood to MOVE. And helps with blood pressure, varicose veins and hemorrhoids. It’s great to regain appetite and helps with leaky gut. Improves digestion significantly. As well as helps with protecting against EMFs! Our main use for yarrow is for fevers in our house. It opens and closes pores of the skin so it regulates the heat in your body. Helping a fever move out. It immediately takes the pain away from injuries and promotes tissue repair. I have this in tincture, oil blend, dried form, and in the summer, fresh as well. I have had to make poultices out of the dried plant material and it works like a charm, Yarrow should not be taken with pregnancy. As it can stimulate the uterus. Do you have a yarrow story?
