EDIT: I know that to the left is not a real interpreter and that it is Erykah Badu mocking the fake interpreter from the past. Point still stand, IT AIN’T FUNNY!! Since the fake interpreter at Nelson Mandela’s funeral and the black lady on the news in Florida, y’all have been calling any black interpreters (Deaf and/or Hearing) fake interpreters and frauds. Even recently a BRILLIANT interpreter @blackterplifetruebiz went viral for interpreting on the news during Hurricane Hilary and y’all were talking about her facial expressions and calling her a fake. Mind you the reason why fake interpreters were booked in the past is because y’all know nothing about ASL and providing accommodations even tho it is the LAW!
