HELPFUL HAUNTING We had some bathroom drama last week! I woke up to hear some knocking and asked the Hubster what it could be. It happened a few times and he said it was probably just birds in the roof (at which point I was thinking there was a whole other issue if we have birds in the roof). Then the knocking moved to the door and I thought perhaps the dogs had escaped their room and were pawing, so I got up to look. I heard the shower and was confused as to why any of the kids would be up so early, quickly realising that the family bathroom door was in fact open. I walked over to discover that the shower was on and the entire room was dripping in water from the steam! The corridor, the adjacent dressing room and part of my daughter's bedroom (door had been ajar) were also absolutely soaked and we frantically wiped the ceilings and walls, hoping the electrics hadn't been damaged. It turns out that there had been a power cut at around 2am and one of the kids had pulled the power cord (electric shower) to test it but had accidentally left it on.
