Time to get back to work on the exo with the MKIII now that summer is gone 🦾 There's going to be plenty of news to be shared over the next few days but let's start from a preview of the major upcoming changes. The new version will be finally almost completely functional as I'll start to replace all pieces with technical materials. Here you can see the first prints for the leg pieces. Printed by @jlcpcb3d with MJF in PA12. The quality of the print is amazing and finally pieces are isotropic and don't have issues related to printing orientation. That has been so far one of the biggest concerns since most of the pieces are stressed in multiple axes. Moreover the speed of @jlcpcb service was unbelievable since after freezing the design I basically got the pieces ready and delivered in less than a week. Now I'll need to add all the elastic elements to preload the knees, but first the lower shin piece is to be redesigned.
