Do you revisit venues or like to try somewhere new? 🍰 Whilst the Regency Afternoon Tea @thelaneldn was lovely when I first visited a few years ago, it has recently had a refreshing revamp making it even more special 💫 The sweet selection is thankfully still created by the legendary @lily_vanilli_cake and alongside her indulgent mini sticky toffee pudding you'll find her iconic handpiped frills on a slice of vanilla & passion fruit sponge 🍰 For a taste of nostalgia there is a strawberry ice cream sandwich layered with marshmallow & chocolate 🍓(Does anyone else remember those or am I showing my age?! 🤣) No standard finger sandwiches are found in the savoury selection, rather a range of comforting canapés, including a delicious Coronation chicken pie with caramelised onions. 🥧 The chefs at @thelaneldn also play with traditional British ideas by topping a mini crumpet with salmon and piping cheese on a savoury madeline.
