Happy September friends! Here is a little life/work update from me 😊💗 1. Today at noon I’ll be opening pre-sales for an online Circular Weaving workshop. The workshop will take place January 13th, 2024 and comes with materials!! Opening sales now will allow me to know exactly how much fiber I need to order, and kits will ship out in time for the December holidays. This would make a great gift for the maker in your life! 2. If you want to hang out with me and weave IRL, there is still time to register for my Weaving Retreat with @hudsonriverart November 1-5 in NY. We will get to spend three days weaving together, while sharing space at the beautiful Greenville Arms Inn. It’s going to be really special and I can’t wait! 3. I’ve decided to close commissions for the rest of the year as I am working on two big custom pieces, and want to have a little time to make some pieces in time for the holidays. I’ll open them again in the new year. 4. I’ve been writing a book (!!!) and I am in the final editing stage now - it will be out next year and I really can’t wait to tell you all more about it! 5. All of the woven pieces in this reel are in my shop and available for purchase! This has been a really challenging year for me on a lot of levels. I am focused on cultivating joy, rest, peace, and beauty in my life as much as possible right now.
