I wish more of you knew this feeling..he’s 75 , a Vietnam vet, he grew up on cattle ranch, he worked on a asphalt paving crew for 35 years of his life as a roller operator, he smoked a pack of cigarettes a day, he crewed snuff, he was always working. He started running at 60….now 75, just this summer he saved a woman from a burning building, ran a couple 50 mile foot races, hiked around the highest point in Northern Europe, finished a 100 mile foot race in just under 33 hours and drove himself home…I remember my dad going into rehab I remember him coming out someone else. He’s my best friend the person iam hardest on the person I not only see myself in I see my sons in . Our parents are the example and the ones who truly hope we come out better then them…if I could only learn from their mistakes 🙏❤️ we are not getting older we are getting lazier 💪 #belikegreg #life #grandpa #dad #running #100miles #utmb #alpinerunning #sober #recovery #coh
