🌟Welcome to my first Clean Beauty Friday! I want to say straight away that not all of the @gxvebeauty products rank for me as clean. Can’t Stop Staring does and is fab! I’be been using it for a few weeks now and am so impressed with it. It’s going to be my go-to mascara ☺️ 🌟 Read on if you want a little more about clean beauty… My definition of clean is what I am prepared to put on my body and not what everyone might wish to do. It’s a subjective thing. I have strong feelings about some hormones affecting ingredients like fragrance (phthalates), parabens, and a new worry about the preservative phenoxyethanol, which potentially has hormone disrupting properties and is only legally allowed up to 1% but is found in many many products. Say we use four or five products a day containing this, the cumulative effect may cause hormone disruption. And this is on top of all the other ways we come into contact with hormone disruptors each day. If this is your first time on my page, I’ve had cancer twice and it was hormone related, so this is a no go area for me and the reason I started my research in the first place. That said, I’m delighted that so many brands are clean throughout their range and I can’t wait to share them in the coming weeks.
