It is time to listen to the voices of Nyinggulu and make some noise to protect the Exmouth Gulf. #jointhechorus and let’s #makenoisefornyinggulu. The audio you can hear in this video was recorded in the Exmouth gulf and shows the voices of the reef of whales, bird life and the mangrove environments. Nyinggulu is not just the reef, the ecosystem consists of three parts, the reef, the range and the gulf which are all interconnected and are all one. We can act as guardians and protect what we are so lucky to have. Let’s listen to the wild and protect our one of a kind. Our wetlands are so important, at Urala creek where the K + S salt mine is proposed we have been lucky enough to film juvenile saw fish, shovel nose rays, turtles an abundance of fish species and incredible bird life. These mangroves are an important source of nutrients and the magic that creates new life. Only a few days left to tell the EPA why you love this area and why we must protect it.
