EFFIN' FLOUNDER . As I was headed to yoga last night, I got a notification that there was a likely aurora later on that evening. Guess who was a bit distracted during savasana? . I decided to head out to a spot not too far away and cram in some shots before moonrise, then see if I wanted to stay out and see if the aurora was strong enough to be seen over the near full moon. . Unfortunately for me, the spot was also chosen by a dozen or so folks floundering. At least I assume they were fishing for flounder. Either that or it's a niche club of folks who like to wade in water while squeezing a particular profanity into a sentence as many times as possible, all the while using very bright torches. Needless to say, the ever present torch light made shooting interesting. . I didn't stay out after the moon rise, but by all accounts it was awesome. .
