Junior Killer. 1960 #Epiphone #Coronet with extremely rare Bikini logo headstock, no "E" on the pickguard, and inked serial number, on top of a nicely worn (and excellent sounding) tweed 1959 #Fender #Super #amplifier. Yesterday was the big, annual, @dlott6 / @chriswstringer8 #UnionSound #Toronto Guitarpalooza Show & Tell Get-together, and here is the very first pic from the afternoon's festivities! Though this was the most humble and least pricy of all the guitars that showed up to the event, it was my favourite! I have always had a thing for Coronets, even though I have never actually held one before yesterday (I have literally never seen one for sale around here in 12+ years of near constant guitar shopping!). Oh also, this one was an incredible 5 lbs! FIVE LBS!!! I love this shot so much, and I'd LOVE to take credit for the art direction on it, but I just pushed the shutter release. The set up was 100% @michaelsegui's concept.
