What it means to qualify for the Paralympic Games 🙏🏼 This is minute 38 of our semi-final game where we secured our spot for the Paris Paralympics. As soon as I came off the court I just felt so overwhelmed… Overwhelmed with pride, relief, happiness and the emotional weight of competing through the pandemic... We did it. I have had a lot of questions about my retirement and to be honest I realised that I just needed a break - I was burnt out. Having that short pause, time with my family, with myself, allowed me to re-centre and see through the fog of the past few years. It feels so good to say that I feel like my old self again.
