The defense of diet culture is alive and well. How do I know? My notifications. By simply being visibly fat on the internet I receive so dozens of unsolicited comments a day telling me what to eat, how to move my body, what my health status is, and how disgusting I am. And I’m not special. Every single fat person I know gets these unsolicited notifications. Our bodies are not invitations to tell us how to live.
