The Heike clan became extremely prosperous and even said, "If you are not a Heike, you are not a person." Kiyomori made a fortune in the trade with Sou as China from the Seto Inland Sea, and was well financed. Kiyomori renovated the Itsukushima Shrine on Miyajima in Aki, and created the solemn thing that it is today.
