Aunty Julie has spent more than 1,000 days on the organ transplant waitlist. The First Nations mother of two spends hours each week strapped to a dialysis machine as she waits for the life changing call. Aunty Julie is one of 1,800 Australians currently waiting for a transplant. She shares her story in the hope that more Aussies will talk to their families and say yes to organ donation. “An organ is an organ, and an organ will save another person’s life,” says Aunty Julie.
