Another Northwoods 2023 highlight! Jeff Jewitt @jeffjewitt doing a 5 minute sunburst! Jeff was like Superman at Northwoods. As I continue to get to know Jeff, he's become more and more a superhero of mine. He's an incredible guitar builder, a veritable walking encyclopedia of knowledge when it comes to finishing, an ace touch-up guy, as intelligent an individual as you'll ever meet, a natural teacher, he has a wonderfully dry wit and is a beautifully warm individual. He did an incredible lecture on the history of guitar finishes. He also did impromptu mini workshops all week. He and I demonstrated the new @totalvise Luthier's Finishing Station, which you can see in the above video. Jeff also did a sunburst demonstration (above), a buffing demonstration, a touch-up demonstration, and more. Here's Jeff doing his 5-minute burst.
