Dahlias wilting? Try this method! I picked these earlier in the day and forgot them out in the field until afternoon. I revived them by soaking them in cold water for 10 min, recut the stem, added them to a tall vase with lots of fresh, clean, cold water. I’d have put them in my cooler at the studio, but at home, I put them in the spare fridge in the garage for an overnight cool hydrating period. In the morning they were back to their full glory! This is Cecil, and it’s one of my favorite varieties! PS.: Avoid putting flowers and fruit in the same location. Most fruits produce ethylene gas, which can reduce flower vase life. #flowers #hack #flowerhack #flowerfarmer #farmerflorist #floraldesigner #florist #weddingflowers #garden #gardening
