Come vogue with the body/work in-lab 🔥 Demonia Yeguaza, mother of the artistic collective @house.of.yeguazas in Bogotá is coming to #janvaneyckacademie to lead a Subversive Dance workshop – an investigation of the construction and deconstruction of transgressive bodies inhabiting public space through resistance, "marikoneo," voguing, twerk, and elements of contemporary dance. 🦄Tuesday, 12 September 2023 🌈17:00 – 19:00 ⭐No previous experience necessary ❗Registration required: details and info on janvaneyck.nl This workshop is an experience that confronts the self and the #body in relation to the binary states that have been imposed on us, to get out of this comfort zone and to generate questions about how a subversive body constructs itself? Why body and not body? Why subversive and not some other word?
