Exciting news! Sona College of Technology in Salem was one of just 200 institutions in India to host the #ChandrayaanMahotsav (a techno-cultural event), which celebrated India's astounding success of landing the Chandrayaan-3 mission on the moon's southern pole. We are especially pleased with our contribution to this mission with the creation of the #SimplexStepperMotor, which was critical in the launch vehicle Mark-III (LVM 3) of Chandrayaan-3. Congratulations to the 400 deserving children who competed in the #Chandrayaan Mahotsav-curated events! The contests, which were led by Principal Dr. S.R.R Senthil Kumar and Senior Faculty, assessed scientific, creative, and cultural abilities through contests such as #singing, #dancing, #essaywriting, #quizzes, #posterpresentations, and #storytelling. It was incredible to see such a lively community coming together to share their abilities. We were pleased to have Chairman, Shri C.Valliappa, Vice Chairmen, Mr. Chocko Valliappa and Mr. Thyagu Valliappa offers their heartfelt wishes and recognizes our students’ promising #talents.
