I mean I can’t blame him for not wanting to get outta bed in the morning personally 😂 #youdoyouboo _ Finally, we have some good news! I’m ngl though, I was worried. I had a sinking feeling when I called to get the results back. Yes, I called them because for me waiting is the worst part. Sure enough the results came in and I kindly asked them to send me the report and if I could speak to the doctor about it. The doctor was busy at the time but called me back after hours to tell me that she had good news. I was not thrilled I had to wait once again but at least they sent me the results beforehand. I usually am a patient person but when it comes to this I really am not. _ The doctor who originally told me about the heart murmur in the first place was the one who told me about the good news. She was the one who did the blood test and Zeus loves her. A different doctor did his echocardiogram. The one who did his echo is the reason we are getting a second opinion, not because of the one who did the blood test. I just wanted to make that clear. _ His blood test came back normal except for one thing BUT we will get to that. His Taurine levels, his thyroid, everything is normal actually better for a dog his age except his liver. Here’s the thing though. The last time I took him in for a blood test his ALKP was over 1000. That is extremely high. I’m fully convinced that us using his Liver Support from @ferapetorganics did the trick. We started using it immediately since his last blood test and in just a few short months his levels dropped from over 1,000 to 464. 464 is still quite high but AMAZING considering what it used to be. I cried happy tears. Things are finally starting to look up for us and let’s just hope they stay this way. Now onto the specialist! _ I also want to apologize for the lack of posting.
