The original 20 x 20 micro cities are lost to the LEGO parts bin of history, though bits of them are scattered throughout the cities that arose in their place. (Nowadays the micro cities remain assembled for an eventual exhibition). Empires inevitably fall, but sometimes they rise again. Keeping this in mind, I revisited the original micro cities in photos and decided to rebuild and refresh them for permanent display. This is a new version of the fourth 20 x 20 micro city I created back in 2016 Apart from the Hyperloop, all the buildings are made using the classic LEGO technique of stacking elements. Sometimes I buy LEGO Speed Champion sets just to marvel at the ingenious construction methods. This is the opposite of that, but simple techniques have their place in the LEGO world.
