About Last weekend… Im still buzzing and processing from the battles i went to last weekend I was invited as a guest battler by @afroandmore_ to do 2v2s This is the first time ive battled in 5 years and i had so many mixed emotions about taking part because of being out of the battle community for so long but that’s where I started my dance journey as a street and battle dancer and it was great to be back This dance event was so special and unique and so much talented dancers and the vibes and atmosphere where insane It was an all female event for dancers specifically from the Afro and all style genres of dance the first of its kind and im so happy humble and grateful to have been a part of it Even thoe i didnt win i got to the finals and the final round of the competition with some amazingly talented women as i was the youngest in the whole category and proud of what i achieved afternot battling for so long I would like to say a big massive thank you firstly to @misslulucreates and @coridlionne for having the belief in me and inviting me on their platform… thank you for your advice support and encouragement on the day means alot 🥰 Would also like to thank my dance partner in 2v2s @prilla_milliner for being a perfect dance companion and giving me space to move abd groove with such a talented dancer was an honour @patiencegop @reginaeigbe @comfortfedoke @itsjustnife for giving me encouragement and kind words of support on the day @unkle.tc and @mirajebari for lovely words and encouragement meant so much Filmed 📸 by the lovely @oluwatosin.om 🥰 What was so special about the above is that most of these people I mentioned above have either taught or trained me from the beginning of my dance journey so was a full circle moment 🥰 Thank you to everyone who has been sending me messages videos and dms of support i really appreciate you all I really showed myself what i can do if i really put my mind to it 😀💪🏾 Hope you enjoy this footage of one of my favourite rounds 🤗 #dancebattle #uk #female #love #fullcircle #passion #determination #vibes #braids
